This was good and interesting to try though was a bit over the hill; the nose was maderized with some orange peel and walnut; not unpleasant to drink, but not really firing.

As soon as I popped the cork, I knew...this baby was going to sing and boy did it! Tons of perfume, forest floor, cedar, soy, mushroom, dried roses, tobacco. I decanted for an hour or so, loads of sediment. On the palate, a tinge of acidity and lingering tannins, but overall an even finish. Discrete red fruit and rose flavors with a tar finish. Classic aged Nebbiolo. It was a great Saturday night, despite current circumstances.
