  A stunningly beautiful wine with fruit sweetness and freshness far younger than its near 40 years of age. An intense and intriguing nose with perfumed red fruits, black tea, toasted spices and herbs. Incredibly silky with fine tannins perfectly melded to the fruit. Long, complex finish. Yum.

  fully mature but with plenty of vibrant plum and black cherry with balsam, maple, herb and earth accents. Structure is integrated seamlessly with the fruit and provides lift and grip in the bright finish. This should hold on in a similar zone for a bit longer based on our bottle that was consistent over a few hours. Good with a beef stew, but even better after dinner when you can focus on the subtle complexities of nearly 40 years.
