BYO Blind Tasting: Blind. Quite yellow, high viscosity; high intensity, a hint of petroleum; smooth, bitter finish, moderately spicy, big bodied, butter, quite some battonage and malo? Again, no idea what this was.

From 3L. Cork was under wax seal, no seepage, no significant cork degradation. Deep yellow, no hint of brown. N: musky, stone fruit aromas, mdeium intensity. P: Very good fruit remaining, nectarine, pinot gris seemed most noticeable. Some sauvignon blanc punchiness on the aftertaste. No oxidation flavours were detected. Texture is a bit fatter, perhaps due to age. Enjoyed by all, very nice freshness for 19 years. Drink up. 13% abv
