This pours medium garnet, still a touch of ruby at the core. Moderate bricking. The nose is of autumn leaves, old furniture, tomato leaf, iron, and lightly dried plum. The palate enters on plummy fruit, with medium minus tannin and medium minus acid. The finish is a tad clipped showing the iron notes. While clearly quite mature, I still find something to like here and in my view this is not yet totally over the hill. I doubt this was ever anything special, and it certainly isn't special now either, but given the low price paid this showing is about what this should be.

Bien moyen, a mal vieilli? Fruité sur l'abricot et les raisins blancs secs. Saveurs qui se rapproche plus d'un tawny que d'un vin rouge. Après 25 ans, le meilleur était probablement derrière lui. RPQ ?
