  And something more to add . . . . when first opened the wine was completely absorbed in itself, a tight nose, and narrow mouthfeel. But hallmarks of a beautiful wine were already apparent; honeyed-petrol-nut-preserved lemon-light herb characters came through on the nose. When finally opened and available there was a stage during my tasting in which the acid folded in symmetrical leaves from the center of my tongue, layer after layer of flavor just kept riding into a long pleasurable finish. A truly great wine; full-bodied and sexy as hell

  Took 2-3 hours to open fully. A massive wine with a long future ahead. at 19 years old it still could use more cellaring...yet the experience of enjoying this beauty is hard to resist. Liquid rocks, petrol, searing green onions...very very long. 97 pts
