Perhaps not as much depth as the Beckstoffer TK but still holding its own in soft and creamy cassis and dark fruits. Color was dark with no No hint of bricky or older plum hints. Still delish and the good ol' plastic "cork" did its job well. Still have a few of the old "yellow labels" and savoring each one.

One of the more unusual Napa cabs I've tried. Concentration is massive, but the wine is so approachable - it's unctious, rich and sumptuous. There is an unusual creamy sweetness on the palate. Delicious.
On the 2nd day the wine held up well and was essentially similar to the first day though maybe a bit less concentration. The wine is lovely, but the palate has a weird marmalade-toffee tone that while appealing is a bit unusual; this is the kind of wine that is great to taste or have a glass of but difficult to get through the bottle. Not sure I'd want a case of this, but it's wonderful to try.

double blind. if you read the wine boards, everyone but parker knows these wines took some kind of a strange turn for the high octane vat of ignominy. nice to spit out a wine double blind, and then find out you made the right call. utter crap.
