Concentrated fruit, spice. Still a lot of life despite 8 years of bottle age. Paired with seared pork tenderloin with a mushroom pan sauce, & maple brown sugar roasted acorn squash.

Brick-tinged garnet. Dirty strawberry, spice, and redwood nose. Light to medium bodied, soft raspberries, woody tannins, some tart cherries, loads of cinnamon, oak, and a dry, slightly astringent medium length finish. More spice than fruit.

Consumed over the course of the day and needed at least an hour decant for the fruit to present itself. Solid, red-fruited pinot in the tune of pomegranate along with some spicey notes and a finish that full of oak. Somewhat watery, acidic and unbalanced, with noticeable oak. Not as good as my previous bottle.

Didn't even realize I had this! Despite two years' worth of room temp storage, very nice Pinot.
