Darker than most Sauvignon Blancs - tending more toward gold than straw. Nose got strongs whiffs of grapefruit with some green apple and perhaps soft pear. Tasted all of that with very pleasant wet stone mineral-ness, ligher acidity than I expected and slight buttery flavor - Chardonnay-like. Finish was longer than a traditional SB. Evidently partially oak-ed but not bitter. Nice - would have again.

Nicely balanced wine with elements of citrus, citrus zest, and herbs. Not as fresh and zingy as a NZ bottling, nor as tropically fruity as some US SB.

Nose - smooth lemon curd, lemon grass.
Lemon, lemon grass, fresh peas, dark woody spice, hint of cigar, pith.
