Opened along with the 2007 Hyde Vineyard. This was the more reserved of the 2 wines. Some lanolin and stone notes on the nose. Pear, apple and a hint of lemon on the palate. Very nice wine and very much worth the price. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Bright, light yellow. Citrus fruit, with plenty of bright acidity. This is not in the style of most Cali chardonnay- there is very little oak, and the fruit is not perceptibly ripe. I agree with other notes that this has an overly tart flavor, however I found it quite pleasant when paired with a cream based chicken dish

Survery Of New World Wines (Bistro 7 (7 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia)): This was way too tart for my tastes. It had some lighter oaky notes and vanilla. But oh so tart! The extreme tartness made it hard to appreciate any other aspects of this wine. It may need some air and/or cellar time to sort itself out.

Weeknight Wine Tasting (Bistro 7, Philadelphia PA): nose smelled a little fishy to me, but i dont think the bottle was off -- just some odd aromatics. green streaks run through this -- it was offputting at times. lots of underripe orchard fruit -- little oaking obvious on this. finish is a bit sour.

Bright yellow in color. Lemon zest, peach, green applea and some almond on the nose. Focused with very good acidity. Very citrus up front but softens to more tropical notes as well. Nice apricot finish.
