  • With australien wine you often get a lot of value for money, but this wine is only in the okay category. Not much to say, some dark fruit, spices and overall lack of depth, aftertaste etc. Not bad at all, but average

  • Bought it on my way home. My wife had got earlier and had put Conchiglioni stuffed with beef, peas and parmesam to the oven before I came. Purple clear colour, heavy smell of fermented wild cherries (the alcohol 14% so thats why I presume) and dark fruits. Well bodied with a bitter sweet taste of cherries in chocolate plus some spices - cloves and cinnamon. long finish with bitter aftertaset af dark chocolate. Was good with this pasta. Beshamel is a heavy souce and combined with Passata it made nice envoronment for this heavy quite simple wine.
