Still doing well and would have loved to have more bottles to get back to over the next decade. Dropped a lot of the heaviness and nicely balanced elderflower, grape, citrus, acidity and still a sense of some sweetness.

Medium yellow, darker than other German GG's I know. nose of petrol, wax, minerals. Very dry on the palate, no hint of fruitiness or even residual sugar, creamy similar to a dry Alsace Riesling. Solid.

Drank over two days. Good and consistent notes with last bottle, but would love to like these German Rieslings even more given this is a Grosses Gewaechs and hence kind of the equivalent of a Grand Cru from Burgundy. Reality is that in terms of balance and length this is more like a solid but not really great Premier Cru (to be fair, the price is also like a not too expensive 1er). Anyway, will keep trying these German Rieslings and not give up... 91-92

Gorgeous and ample
Weighty Riesling in check with the alcohol (13.5%) and fruit.
Really splendid texture to this Riesling too. Delicious
