  • Dark garnet colors with aromas of red current, violets. Simple flavor profile of red fruits and plum. Medium bodied, medoum smooth tannis. I may have waited too long to drink this one.

  • While attempting to clean up in disorganized mess of a wine I came across a couple of bottles of this wine which I purchased around 9 years ago and they have been resting quietly since then. I pulled the cork and let it sit for three hours. Dark red fruit on the nose. The palate is dark plums, dark cherry, tobacco and hints of chocolate on the finish which is moderate to long. Served with grilled steak and ribs.

  • Reticent nose with dark berry fruit. Very dense and nicely balanced overall; chocolate, dark cherry, bay leaf and eucalyptus — stood up well against rich cheeses (stinky epoisse and Gorgonzola) and a spicy meal. At hour two from the bottle, it is well integrated but lacks lift and layered complexity. Nice and an easy drinker with the right meal. Good QPR.

  • Gonna go 96 on this due to it showing perfectly as a 2007. It was incredibly delicious & drinking it next to a 2015 Kathryn HALL showed just how well it’s aged! An absolute class wine!

  • I bought this when I had to qualify to get their Beckstoffer to Kalon ! I tried some of the Bacio Divino in 2015 and it was not so great. However after another almost 4 years this wine has exploded with taste! Mostly Cab, it has a pure and full fruit taste that has notes of Black Cherry, a kind of Smokey plum and unmistakable Vanilla! I don't understand why I why don'r i buy and cellar more these sleepers! Happy I have another in my cellar in location N7!

(Bacio Divino) Ripe red plum and vanilla nose; plush, ripe plum, vanilla palate; medium-plus finish (92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Sangiovese, 3% Syrah, 1% Merlot; a smooth and plush Cali Cab for drinking in the near term, but hard to recommend at $80)
