NOSE GASM. WOW. Found this in a random box. Drank out of Zalto Bordeauxs. Awesome aromatics. This has so much black olive, crisp acid, black cherry sage. Gorgeous. This may be my last bottle but I suck at CT.

Smells like syrah w/notes of black berry, black cherry and dried blueberries along side creosote, tar and black licorice, this leads to a midpalate of much the same with a tannic note that echos on in the medium finish. Adequate fruit and acid balance and good enough on its own or with a substantial meal.

This one we pulled from our cellar to see how these wines have aged. And it had aged beautifully! The mouthfeel was soft and smooth and the tannins, while still present, were polished and unobtrusive. Black cherry and blackberry flavours dominate and receive supporting notes from earth and a little spice. Long finish and impeccable balance. Well worth the wait! www.advinetures.ca

Tasted alongside an '03 Araujo Eisele and an '03 Shafer Relentless. Could tell this was the youngest of the bunch and felt like a few more years might have helped. It was a bit more syrup-like than some of the others on initial taste, but then really opened up in the glass. Good wine which was just a bit overshadowed by some great ones.

Popped and poured around a campfire while camping. Hit the spot.
