13% d'alcool Oeil : opacité 4/10, forte viscosité en parois, auréole à peine orangée Nez : timide à l'ouverture, il a eu besoin de 60 à 90 minutes d'aération pour se livrer, alors frais, fruité devant intensément sur la griotte, animal (fourrure), minéral, ferreux, épices douces, boisé fondu, terre noire, très beau pour le rang Bouche : sec, ample+, acidité rafraîchissante, tanins encore charnus et de grain moyen, amertume modérée, persistance plutôt longue, rétro végétale, fruitée, minérale, métallique, épicée Conclusion : Superbe Gevrey générique, qui aurait eu besoin de 2 à 4 ans encore (probablement), mais qui se livre très bien ce soir après un bon coup d'air. Bright crunchy red cherry fruit with clove and vanilla. The fruit is still intense with fair bit of acid poking through. Feels like it still has time to improve in next 3-5 years.

High acid vintage is apparently here. Need more time to settle down. Decent and clean nose, still some unresolved tannins, no hint of alcohol. Due to the acidity, more of a food wine now, but should be better in 5 years.

Medium clear red; lovely fruity nose with plenty of raspberry, some vanilla; lovely, smooth and pointed, nice acidity giving it an edge; good taste, good length; a bit on the lean side, but well tasting; much better / more developed than 2.5 years ago - "a point" I believe
