Awe-inspiring. The pronounced nose gives up ripe raspberry, dried cranberries, red plums, dried sage, cloves, nutmeg, mushrooms, game meat, leather, and gorse. The tannins are silky. The finish is long. There is a lot of oak here (100% new). It is a wine to sit back and luxuriate with. It is outstanding. It hasn't got much further to go, so I would drink up if you're lucky to have this stunning wine in your cellar.

Domaine Serafin wines are old school style, oaky and destemmed. They have never been under my radar but they perform well. Tasted blind – Bold dark berries, dusty (cheap) wood spices and meaty note. Firm structure, fine-grained tannins, earthy and juicy blackberries of Gevrey Chambertin / Morey Saint Denis. Drinking well today, probably has 10 years of age to it. Slightly dusty. 2010? Gevrey Chambertin / Morey St Denis? (88/100)

Dark red, really spicy nose. Needs aeration to show brambly fruit. Spicy , medium long finish. Firm and crisp. Cocoa in empty glass. High quality ripe fruit.

Quite a bit of spice on the nose, intoxicating. Great balance, no overt wood notes that I noticed, nice fruit. A very nice bottle of wine.
