  From an excellent looking bottle (pictured), this wine had a deep red center and tan rims. The medium+ intensity nose put forth coco, whiskey barrel, cherry, and red soil notes.
  
  In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with light rounded tannin, nice richness, and lovely integration. It showed a lot of complexity and very good length. The fruit was clearly quite ripe when picked.
  
  While this wine had a lot going for it, it had a bit of a funky element to the fruit (whiskey barrel/cellar notes) that dragged it down a bit. This bottle was obviously stored perfectly so drinking ASAP is recommended.
