Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 92 points

  • bottle opened by RCD on March 24, he was so kind to give me the remains to taste. despite the oxygen the wine has seen in the past 48hrs, it is still in its infancy. nose is primarily fruity with strawberries and blueberries, soil, underwood, licorice, conifer. palate: medium weight. again fruit with some (green) vegetable notes, appealing acid profile, tannins are finely grained, velvety and still very much present in a non-mature way. long and stable aftertaste (16 Caudalie). in a perfect world, this wine would have had 20 years to peak. nevertheless: utterly delicious.
