Full, round, robust white Burgundy, at the very peak of its life and at a wonderful time in mine. My last bottle of this beauty, enjoyed during this "summer of whites". Tasting notes the same as my previous bottle, so I won't repeat them. Au revoir, mon ami!

Spectacular burgundy. Beautiful light gold in the glass. Bursting aromas of buttercups, fresh peaches and ripe pears. On the palate, a lush blend of nectarines, lemons, and clementines. As the long finish lingers in the mouth, notes of brioche and caramel add additional layers of pleasure. My previous bottles of Le Champ Gain were excellent. But this one is transcendent. It is the Catherine Deneuve of white burgundies.

Excellent. Bright gold in the glass. Minerals and petunias on the nose. Rich and full on the palate, with immediate lemon and tangerine notes, followed by a very long finish across the entire palate, ending with a hint of walther's (surprisingly enough) at the finale. Merry Christmas.
