It is a bright ruby color. I tried to give it proper tasting, but, im stuck. I think those who rated extremely low ate out to lunch. I cant reach 90, but i am far from disappointed. I get smoke and a medium body. An okay finish for which i look for longer lasting.

Bright ruby color with lighter rim. Gorgeous, intense nose: candied strawberry and pomegranate fruit with accents of white chocolate, caramel, bacon, and damp pine forest. Medium body with a very silky texture on the palate: more ripe strawberry and juicy black cherry fruit supported by some smoky caramel, more white chocolate, and some pine/juniper. A hint of orange peel. Excellent intensity of flavor. Focused acidity. Lighter tannins. Lingering smoky caramel and a little flinty stone on the moderate/long finish. Brilliant debut effort. Textbook Central Coast PN. Awesome value!

Very avg; wine club shipment that filled a gap in cost; not worth it
