Dark red to purple, spicy red fruit, tobacco and vanilla nose. These come through on the palate as well. Dark fruit, more savory flavors and grilled herbs and meat than the Aalto we compared it to head to head. Mature, lower acid, minimal tannins. Drinking well now.

Wish I had more of this. The grapes are from Cayuse's En Chamberlin Vineyard, which is immediately recognizable from the funky nose. This is easily the best domestic Tempranillo I've had. Dark. Big expressive fruit.

Good, like the K Vitners Syrahs better than the Tempranilllo. Fell short of the Impulsivo too.

Interesting. Medium body, slightly stinky. Pool. Tastes more like WA Syrah than Tempranillo.
