Ruby transitioning to dark garnet with plenty of sediment. Coffee and ripe, black berries on the nose. Ripe, sweet blackberries and mulberries that border on overripe. Long red berry finish. It flirts with fig and raisin notes but doesn’t quite get there, yet somehow still drinks slightly tight at some points. Regardless, I would drink this over the next three years.

deep ruby burgundy color; nose of cherries, plums and cigar box with smooth integrated tannins; full bodied with flavors of cassis , cocoa. Drinking very nicely now. Satisfying but not lengthy finish.

Excellent wine, had a bit of funk in it but after an hour of decant the strong fruit overwhelmed it and it was a pleasure to enjoy. Would have rated a bit higher if wasn't partially spoiled. Good structure, smooth tannins and fruit ready to last another 20 years.

Out of a magnum. Short decant in a Riedel Amadeus and start consuming in about 15 minutes during a 1.5 to 2 hours span...
The wine is full body, the nose is heavenly, the palate is an attack of rounded and refine tannins with black truffle, spices, mocha, earthy notes and apricot. The finish is the best part, we had this wine for our Memorial Day celebrations and I still feel it in the back of my tong (4 days ago).
We paired with prime skirt steak done in a Sous Vide for 1.5 hours at 130F.
Exquisite pairing and phenomenal vibrant wine.

Excellent. Blackberry jam, chocolate, leather and tobacco. Vanilla oak and emerging notes of forest floor. Still relatively young at 16 years of age.
