An overlooked bottle NOW primarily relegated for cooking; I'll not "rate," etc., because of its age -- & our error.
N: MUTED; Poss some apples? Notes of alch? [14.0% ABV declared]
P: MF body; RNDISH entry with reasonable "frt" (given its age, & dubious storage for much of its existence) with a caramelly aspect which QUICKLY turns into a decently balanced, yet shortish finish. Obviously WELL past its prime, but still with the ability to cleanse the P because of its acidity.

Muted fruit and not anywhere close to the acidity that SB should have. Nothing unpleasant but far from compelling. I am almost wondering if this is a bad bottle but being a screwcap, I don't think so.

Picked up 8 bottles at the bevmo 5 cent sale. My wife already went through them as this has become her new go to wine. Crisp and refreshing without being to acidic. Highly recommended at $10 or less.

Tropical fruit including a hint of grapefruit. Improves as it gets closer to cellar temperature; flavors are muted right out of the cooler.

Lime, grapefruit, very refreshing, maybe a hint of oak, but definitely some minerality on the finish.
