Purple with a narrow ruby rim. Immediately floral nose that grabs your attention, filling the bowl with pretty violet, raspberry and subtle baking spices. Silky on the palate with soft, creamy red fruits and sweet vanilla bean. Excellent persistence and enough of the tannins remain to give the finish textural interest.

October 13, 2023. Drank from North 11. Aline and Cory for birthday. Cork failure. Light oak cherry nose. Deep dark purple. Full even body long soft oak flavor and finish dry with hint of raisin, minimal fruit. Nice mature wine. 7.5/10.

A bit of browning and quite soft. Still together but showing its age. Drink up if you have any. Not as compelling as the 2001 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon we had with it.

Has held up well. Fully integrated, still has good dark fruit. medium to soft tannins. I agree with the flavor notes of the previous rater. Wish I had two more.

Slow ox’ed for 2 hours. Nice ruby color with minimal bricking. Very expressive nose with menthol, forest floor, dark cherries, oak. Nice acidity, balsamic notes with a touch of menthol, lightly steed plums and cherries, sweet tobacco - nice and complex. Tannins are mellow and almost entirely integrated - the ending is medium long with aromatic wood, white pepper, and incense. A very pleasant wine that went perfectly with nice homemade spaghetti alla carbonara.
