  First of three bottles. Note from second night but seems similar to previous tasting.
  
  Dark color to the rim; very hot nose with plum liquor, iron, cedar(?); smooth moderately tannic and acidic body with dark fruit and berry, wood, dried orange rind. Reasonably complex but the 14.5% abv on the bottle might be a bit under-reported.
