  • 60-40 Marsanne - Roussanne, raised in 25% new and rest in used 225-litre oak for 9 months.
Luminous golden straw. Intense and dense nose with white raisin, yellow apple and beeswax. Palate is somewhat oily but still it has really fresh acidity with lovely lemon custard and peaches. Hints of smoke and buttery brioche adding another dimension. It has decent leght and nice spicy aftertaste. Aerating helps wine to open up. Don't really see why this would be able to cellar another 5 years or so. Probably going to develop more those tertiary aromas. This paired really well with Chicken with morels and tarragon cream sauce.
