This wine was delicious. Big bold California chard. Paired with "braised rabbit", this wine was outstanding. Great nose and a lot going on with the wine. Thoroughly enjoyed by a dinner party of 6.

Vanilla and citrus nose, with continued lemon tartness, creme brullee and vanilla oak once tasted. Donum makes some of the finest Pinots anywhere, and their fine Chardonnays, while not yet at the same level, are an emerging part of their portfolio.

These are past prime. Better on the nose than the tongue. Really dark, a touch of brown in color.

Pinot Days 2011 - San Francisco, CA (Fort Mason Center - Festival Pavilion, San Francisco, CA): lemon meringue, slight oaked but not the buttery, oaky style, good acidity.
