Tasted side by side with the Goldeneye Pinot from the same year. Incredibly similar although some of felt that one or the other was slightly larger bodied. Nonetheless, we all agreed the Migration for $15 less was a real value over the Goldeneye. Both are superb though.

(Migration (Duckhorn Vineyards) Pinot Noir Anderson Valley) Lush oaky, cedar, rhubarb and raspberry nose; tasty, light but balanced cedar, raspberry palate with a clove note, velvety mouthfeel; medium finish (100% new French oak, 16 mos. in barrel)

Well made Pinot that delivers lots of plum, cherry and spice. Nicely balanced acidity and lush finish.

This one will really singing! It's come together beautifully since the last bottle I had over a year ago. Wish I had more.
