  • Was very nice with red dark fruit on the palate. Quite smooth because of age. Is coming towards its final days.

  • Deep dark, black cherry color; fragrances and flavors of ripe dark fruits; big, sweet flavors with medium-big mouth feel, medium acid and medium tannins. A good New World style wine, but thanks to its decent acid level it does work with simple, hearty food. However, the alcohol and oak make it a bit tiring for a multi-course meal. What's missing is fruit; if it had a bit more fresh fruit nose and a bit less oak this might have been a wine at a completely different level, because all the primary ingredients are there in abundance.
