  I bought a case of this South African wine after trying it at The Mantel in Oklahoma City with the owner and my girlfriend at the time. Since purchasing the case in 2009 I have had a bottle or two a year, given away a couple, and have just a few left. I hadn't had a bottle in a couple of years, and wasn't sure whether it would have much left.
  
  I did not decant, and began drinking it with my current girlfriend, Brookie. The wine has fully integrated tannins, balanced mid palate, earthy and herbaceous notes, not many primary flavors at this point, at it's peak, has a few more years. Generally solid, well made cab, very good value. Now I am curious as to what an hour of decanting would have done.
