Very nice. In the initial palate quite young and then changing into a quite mature round taste. After one hour in the bottle completely coherent and not fully mature yet although it is easily drinkable now. it is still not the lightest Chambolle I have tasted and the dominant fruit notes are bot red and dark berries.

Fresh and vibrant chambolle and less Pacalet than in some of his other wines. Rather dark and since we had it blind more people went into NSG or GC. But still a very nice glass which will probably not be more enjoyable than now.

Even better showing than my last bottle of the same, a month or two back. Lovely red fruits, balanced and fresh. I'm beginning to revise my opinion of his wines, a bit.

Tend to avoid Pacalet since they are inconsistent, but it was on the table and pleasantly surprising. Crunchy red fruit, nice aromatics, fresh. Nothing to wow, but at least for once not a mess.

Given my recent experience with a 2007 Pacalet, I thought that this would also be faded, acerbic, and devoid of fruit. Instead, the nose certainly delivered, with fresh and dried flowers and red fruit. On the palate, the fruit is starting to fade and the wine is beginning to turn a bit austere, but still showed pleasant crunchy cherries. Medium-minus body; very bright, high acids; very fine tannin. Not a very long finish. Good. Certainly drink now.
