Medium red color with pink rim. Because it was a little cold, the nose was muted but displayed plum, dark cherry, and pepper. The palate followed the nose with a touch of bitterness that could be attributed to the serving temperature. There is good structure - solid acidity and friendly tannins. He finish was moderate with some apple skin bitterness. Overall, this was a good pizza wine with solid, dark fruit and a touch of bitterness on the finish.

Very nice Cotes style wine from Paso Robles. Done in the Rhone style, but yet it's own unique taste. Solid from start to finish, very easy to drink and savor. Multiple flavors make for a complex and enjoyable red.

Drank half pop and pour and the other half four days later. No detailed notes taken, but it had very nice balance enough acidity for a range of food pairings and some nice spiciness and depth. It held up very well and may have even improved over the several days after it was initially opened.

This wine has a very flashy nose of red raspberry and coconut. In the mouth, the red raspberry melds with earth and some evident tannins. The acidity was solid in this medium-bodied wine, and the finish was adequate. A wine to enjoy with food but will have a few years ahead, so there is no immediate rush to drink.

California Rhone Blends (The Wine Country, Signal Hill, CA): Perfume on the nose. Decent Rhone flavor but slightly "fake" tasting candied fruit. Short finish.
