Note: I use a rating on which 85 represents a very good wine.
Reading my previous TNs, I suspect they were a point or two generous. Regardless, time helped this bottle. This bottle was less sharp and acidic, much more balanced. No great drama, but what do you expect for 10USD?

Opened up to display some cotton candy and light oak notes on the nose. Understated old style chardonnay flavours - a bit of grapefruit, some other citrus. Somewhat simple, but still very good.

nose - lemon, lemon custard mouth - invigorating citrus fruit with some nice pit fruit flavors on the midpalate. reminiscent of sweettarts, but in a good way. juicy, yummy, very nicely done

Stinky pear nose, definitely a tart palate but I don't think offensively tart whatsoever, and I'm sensitive to overly acidic wines. The finish is medium and very melon. Great food wine, and quite a QPR. I said it in my first note and I'll say it again, I'll take this over 95% of the Cali chards I've ever had (<$50 or so) hands down.

Decent bottle, although it seemed to be a bit out of balance -- a bit too much acidity, not quite enough fruit. All in all, not a bad QPR.
