Dense and dark fruit from boysenberries, blueberries and cherries but also some slight sweet notes from marzipan and hints of smoke and licorice. Acidity is great with a cool fresh expression, giving some energy to the otherwise rather dark and dense wine. This is very powerful for a Pinot Noir but it gets balanced with the acidity.

Fantastic Oregon Pinot. Dark brickish red color. Elegant vanilla and cherry/strawberry notes, with smooth soft mouthfeel. Seems a little hot on alcohol, which is odd because it's only 13.3%. I'm thinking as this has been open it's changing. I would like a little more acid, but otherwise spectacular.
