Drank a small pour at a tasting. The Lanson's that I've had seem to be improving with bottle age. Slight caramel notes, lychee, elegant pear and baked lemon.

New Years Day Champagne Tasting (Brad's Castle): Very nice! A tasty Champagne that won't disappoint! Lots of buttered toast, creamy pear and Meyers lemon, with notes of Gala apple, flint and spice. 93 points for me!

Light gold color. Drank a couple glasses over 90 minutes. Brought this to Lutsen for dinner at The Strand with my cousins. I could not have been more pleased with how this showed. these have always been quite good, but they just keep getting better with age. I've always favored the BdB over the still excellent Brut Noble. This was at another level again showing a gorgeous dulce de leche note up front, nice purity of pear fruit, and creamy nugat with almond, blissful toast and lemon curd on the deep and elegant finish. Beautiful. 94+ to 95pts.

Samples from Bill #4: Toasty, lemon curd, smoke and apple. Classic Lanson piercingly fresh acid line. Fruit has started to show a touch of roundness though it drives through with the acid and stays refreshing on the palate. Really lovely.

New Years Day: Vrai Champagne, Seventh Annual Edition (Brad & Marcia's Place, St. Paul, MN): Tasting pour. Had this back in late September when we brought a bottle to The Strand at Lutsen. That bottle was brilliant and this was right there with it. Classy, elegant, dulche de leche, caramel creme, pear, toasted, lemon paste, limestone. Great.
