Ripe and peppery. Not a big wine, but showing generous currant and plum fruit that mingles with a earthy, spicy and smokey character. The silky tannins are just enough to keep this wine in check. - JD87

Crown Liquor store tasting. The sleeper of the night. This is a really nice, medium ruby colored, full bodied shiraz. Starts off with a nose of dark berries and a spicy undertone. Flavors of dark cherries and spices offset by maturing tannins. A little heat on the palate but otherwise well balanced, and at $12 a great buy! Doris, Ray, Elena enjoyed
