Pnp directly to glass, was pleasantly surprised this was not as sweet and jammy as a 2008 Harris Jake's we recently opened. There is no mistaking this is a Napa cab - dark fruits and oak are clearly noticeable but much better integrated and balanced then the Jake's. We only had one glass at the end of the evening - let's see how it evolves overnight. With the Jake's - it was bad on day 1 and best on day 3. Hopefully this has the same trajectory.

Starts out really sweet and jammy on the nose. Not really what I look for in a cab. With time it improved. Aromas of chocolate and oak, black and red fruits. Thick, rich and sweet even after a few hours. Blackberries, currants, vanilla on the palate. Tannins are present(but smooth) on the long finish. While I really like most TRB wines, this just doesn't match up and makes me glad its the last year I purchased. There are much better wines for less money.

A bit underwhelming this night ith chocolate, purple fruits, and mocha on the nose. The palate follows through with slightly redder fruits, a hint of vanilla but there is a hole in the middle that I don't usually find in these. Good no less.

Dark and brooding nose of chocolate and oak. The palate is thick and sweet with blackberries, currants and some vanilla. Solid tannins. Young and delicious.

More left bank Bordeaux than Napa. Nice change of pace.
