Not that there’s even one one bottle left in a CT cellar or that one person will see this (or care) but this wine is now stunning! It was lost in a random wine case after a residence move in 2012 and just now uncovered. I thought it would be brick colored swill. Wow! Tannins that are smoother than glass, hint of musty nose, a slight fruit sweetness, and the mouthfeel of premium root beer. Lucky day! It’s a testimony to the Priorat region!

Greek Night-OPA! (Portland, Oregon): No formal notes taken with dinner, but left overs were sampled on day 2: A blend of 60% Carinena, 30% Garnacha, with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
Aromas of spiced glacier cherries (Mr. VinL's term), toast and sweet red fruit. Simple, yet pleasant with blackberry pie filling, sweet oak, coffee and aniseed flavors. Healthy tannins which leave the hind palate a bit dry following a touch of smoothness on the mid-palate.

Recommendation from McCarthy & aSchiering...had in the cellar for two years and was pleasantly surprised. Dark red in color. Earthy nose. Well balanced with an medium finish. Nice acidity. A fun wine to drink.

Better bottle than previous. More dark crushed fruit apparent. Some chewiness - paired well with pasta and sausages
