  Rich black fruit up front, not reminiscent of many lean '08's. Get the pommard silkiness in mid-palpate case. Lingering finish, with tannin and acid still present, but not intrusive. Fabulous, but good for a few more years also.

  Wow. I have to say that my previous tasting note did not accurately predict, exceeding my expectations. Although all of the qualities described previously are still present, the collective product has blossomed, fabulously elegant and understated. The tannins are fully refined, and the bright cherry flavor carries quite long and smooth on a medium body. Not a powerhouse on the palate, but elegant is (again) the key descriptor. Can it get any better?
