Very sweet, almost a desert wine. Could have been fermented longer and dryer. If I owned a restaurant, I would offer this to those people who ask for a 'sweet red', which I didn't know really existed. It's really just spiked grape juice, but more subtle and integrated than a punch with a spirit. Not sophisticated but fun to drink if you take for what it is.

From label "Fruity red wine with a hint of sweetness" pretty much covers it. Berry fruit forward, tastes like some residual sugar on the finish. Not my style. Probably good for those who don't like red wine, might be able to do something as a dessert pairing, but I'd stick with a port style instead.
