  • Of my recent educational experiment re: white Burgs, this is probably my favorite of the bunch so far. Delicate yet powerful. The nose is rich with a creamy, slightly sweet mix of fruits. The palate is very well balanced, with acidity present in exactly the right amount to leave a smooth, medium bodied white rolling over the tongue. A bit of creme brulee, sweet, coconut in small doses give some comlexities to the flavor. Long finish. Nothing overdone....this is one of the best balanced whites I've had. The delicacy of this reminds me a bit of the 1985 Jaboulet Vercherre Puligny Montrachet, though a much more high powered version.
