This modest Graves from a nonstellar year was a revelation. Just at the right level of maturity for my taste. It was rich (dry) and complex, Good match with grilled cod. It's been a while since I had a Graves and I need to buy/drink more of it.

Thought it might be too old, but it was a beautiful match with lemon chicken. Darker yellow than the current vintage on the store shelves, but no oxidative qualities. Lemons and pears dominate somewhat simple nose and palate. Crisp sauvignon blanc acidity. A nice white Graves at a low price. I'd buy it again.

Light golden color. Simple nose of lemon, honey and smokey oak. Flavors were even simpler with very light lemon and more of a raw oak. Even though it was balanced ok with acidity it just did not have enough to be interesting. It may just be over the hill.

Had this wine at our “Wines from France” Wine tasting party on 8/21/04; it was enjoyed by almost everyone; it was a little drier than the other two we had; Jeff & I enjoyed it very much.
