Black, red, and dry plum fruits; shy floral (violet) - similar to Le Volte; light earthiness, tobacco, cigar, licorice, brownish on the edge, med body, polish tanin; mild bitterness and spicy notes, with a hint of chocolate and menthol at the end; long finish and strength; extremely long-lasting +20s; everything in subtle nuances and light touch; elegant style, pt 94
Day 1
Decanter from noon to 6pm.; repoured to the bottle at 7; half bottle served in dining til mid-night
Day 2 (refringe with cork)
singing today, as dry fruity scent and flowery note shine out, and smoothness was perfectly presented

Rich, plush, heavy tearing, sous-bois, a little bland though, not a lot of character. Chalk it up to the vintage? 8th fav overall. DD Blind 1982-2005 Bordeaux 1st Growth dinner at BOA steakhouse.
