  • Brick brown to Orange with medium depth of colour that was clear and bright, left a tidemark rather than tears. Pleasant nose with moderate aromas that were clearly aged lightly fruity, smokey, woody. A dry medium-full palate that was in one sense smooth but with low level dry tannins. Noy overly flavoursome fruity, eucalyptus with a finish of around 6 seconds. Was decanted and got better during first 45 minutes of drinking. Overall a good wine for its age, hence the 91 rating. Tasted on 9 April 2012
