  • Very easy going. Filled with notes of sweet black and blue fruit, oak, and an espresso middle that pushes through the medicinal finish. Needs a little air to bring out its best.

  • Agree with previous note. Had a 1/2 bottle left over and it tasted much better the second day. Next time will areate. Nice sub $10 non-sale price. Perfect to take to pizza/grill party - the wine actually has taste!

  • We bought a couple of bottles of this based on WE's 89 rating recommendation. We are not in total agreement, but close. At $8.99, it is a good everyday red, it has tannin - amazingly - and some plummy, jammy, juicy tastes, but it almost seems like it may be too young? It tries to be a Washington state meritage - Syrah, Cab, Merlot, so it has a different taste that may take a little getting used to (the Syrah). We will try to aerate the next bottle to see if that helps...that would really be strange for an entry level wine, but we thought it was still a little tight at a 2008 vintage? Good QPR.
