(BrunnerGang@Mich'sMysteryMarvel) [parallel with 2009 Alan McCorkindale Pinot Noir Legend Terrace Vineyard] Ooooo just hits all the right spots for me: herbal chicken essence on the rounded pleasant nose, textural(?!) and spilling on damp forest floor, mossy, fresh cut oranges, purple plums and exotic five-spice. Sweetly concentrated, seductive dark spices, yet beguilingly rounded, clean and transparent, yet such effortless balance, power and focus. Wet forest floor, jammy, white pepper, leading to a long, spicy finish. Beautifully cohesive, where the nose flows effortlessly to the palate and the long meandering finish. Drinking very well now, this was just an edge taller, confident, and prettier than its neighbors tonight.

Still loads left in this, typical Otago, not burgundy but not trying to be. Rich , well balanced & long. Some sweetness

Shared with Sandra, Kayla and Chris. A classic Otago Pinot. Great with Muscovy duck breast in a cherry sauce!

Half-bottle was nice - lots of fruit, light body, enough tannin to balance. Ripe cherries and plum in the nose with a spicy finish
