What a well made wine. Still tight, although it loosened its grip over the night and by day two it was much more enjoyable. Great dark fruit, long finish, very full and silky mouthfeel. Had I sampled blind I would have guessed a very young, well made left bank wine. Certainly would not have guessed mourvedre from the south of France. This was one of my first Bandol wines. At a sub $20 price point, I'm convinced!
