  This is our go-to house rose for casual dining; great in the summer with burgers or brats, and equally great for a winter brunch, which is how we served this latest bottle -- with a spinach and gruyere strata, hash browns, and dried blueberry scones. This is a clean, clear wine, with a slight astringency that goes well with rich foods. It balances tartness (but not bitterness) with sweet berries (although not cloying). Quite a pleasure!
