Torsdagsklubben: Fransk boksmat: Blind. Mye røde bær, knust stein og røyk, lett dyrepels, krydder. Svært intens og mineralsk vin, lettbeint - nesten svevende. Iron fist osv. Fantastisk balanse og presisjon. Men, her er det nok ennå mer å gå på for ytterlige kompleksitet. Utrolig generøst av verten.

Very round, concentrated and reluctant likewise. Not reached his peak but in a great drinking window. 98

I had no idea which winery and which vintage but the wine is stunning. Concentrated, elegant, violet, tar and some red berries. Great precision in the finish. At least 10 more years. 98-99

Somewhat lacking, this was a pristine bottle but just wasn’t shining. Tasted blind and sophisticated burgundy drinkers were guessing at Groffier! Hopefully it’s a one off, or perhaps shutting down
