Softer, showing more age than the 1999 tasted a couple of years ago in the samme setting, this comes out as a textbook BdB with plenty of butter, brioche, citrus and a round, lingering taste. It will keep, but it is certainly mature. #Enomania#Henrik&Musse

Quite lovely, fully developed nose. Quite sublime. Tender yellow apples, some minerality. Notes of chocolate and flowers. Mandarin freshness. Medium-fullish, nutty palate. Some elegance and quite succulent. Notes of chocolate, roasted nuts, apples. Slightly austere and bitter in the finish. Tasted blind this was found appealing and generous, albeit without the focus of greater years.

12% alc. 100% Chardonnnay coming from the vineyards of Mesnil sur Oger (60%), Avize (35%) and Villers Marmery (5%). Ample yet refined sweet aromas of white blossom, vanilla and candied quince. The nose is fresh and lifted. Forward-centred flavours combine candied yellow lemons and apple pie which flow effortlessly and finish on soft citrus notes, hints of savouriness and chalky minerality. Flavours of this mid-weight champagne gravitate towards the front, calling for more substance in the back palate. Tasted at home

A beautiful bottle (more champagne should be in clear glass bottles), a lovely, intense yellow color, fine bubbles, and very mineral on the palate. Solid performance, but not a waoh champagne.

Mörkare gul - åt guldhållet
Doftar mogna äpplen, lite kola, lite fatig och med en äldre touch
smakar Kola, inte riktigt färdig, mogna syrliga äpplen, grillad mogen grape med lite äppelskal i bakgrunden
