retro-noting it but it was absolutely spectacular. kept in my cellar for 6 years or so and it was worth it. absolutely amazing. regret not having bought more.

Heavy, fruit-laden nose that is hugely and cumbersomely sweet - massive sucrosity and simple, but with respectable acidity. Fine for a 2006 white. (DFW)

Pale straw color; nose is exotic and almost viognier-ish, with notes of orange peel, key lime and mango, yet still cool and balanced. The mouthfeel is a bit oily, there are notes of honeysuckle and wild honey, distinctly oxidative but not - I repeat, NOT -- 'premoxed.' There is a brisk clean finish, ample minerality. A distinctive wine, perhaps on the rustic side, but really quite satisfying. Wonderful with ventresca tuna in virgin olive oil, ripe melon and a baguette!
